rules
- your posts must be at least 300 words long. 300 words is easy to obtain if you look at the word counter at the bottom of the posting field. if your post does not meet the word count, put somewhere (not finished), or just don't post until it does meet the word count.
- your posts must be realistic. you cannot say "he looked up and saw the red sky sending droplets of blood on the ground". i mean, seriously. this is a different world, but the sky is the color of our sky, and everything natural is basically like what we have here.
- no god-modding or power-playing. god-modding is making your person have un-humane qualities. they cannot dodge every blow, and they cannot land every blow. they cannot run faster than every person in the world, and they cannot be the strongest. power-playing is playing another person's character without their permission, or auto-hitting.
- you may not kill, wound, chase off, or act out another person's character without their permission. you can try to land a blow but it is decided by that other character whether it hits or not. remember, they cannot dodge every blow so that rule will be enforced to prevent them from dodging everything.
- you may role-play only one character at a time during a post. if you want to play another character in the same thread, post as the character in that account. remember, no matter what account you're on, someone else has to post before you can post with a separate character. unless the other member's character is asking something of both your characters, only one post at a time, please.
- if your planning for something big to happen in your post, such as a plane crashing, pm an admin first to get permission to do so. that way we can arrange any npc, or non-npc if member's wish, to be killed in the crash.
- you may format your role-playing post any way you want. blockquote, double blockquote, triple blockquote, however you wish. center and right is fine too. but please, if you wish to make the font colors different, make sure the color is readable with the skin. there is only one skin at a time so it should be easy.
- your post may not contain copyrighted material of any sort. that means, taking text directly out of someone else's post, or out of a book and using it as your own words. that is called 'plagiarism', and it will not be tolerated.
