IN DEPTH !
*appearance: jack is just a few inches over six feet tall. he has tanned-brown skin, brown eyes, and short cropped dirty blond hair. he has a casual, athletic appearance, nothing too thin or too muscular. he looks as though he had been a runner farther in his youth. on most days he wears torn jeans and a baggy t-shirt because he's digging through soil at his job. he wears regular sneakers, and prefers not to wear hats or nice clothing and ties. he gets dirty a lot because of his work, so that's why he wears worn out clothing. jack is usually seen wearing his favorite pair of sunglasses, whether they are on his eyes or pushed up above his forehead.
picture: none.
*personality: jack is very laid back and easy going. he likes talking but he also likes silence as well, so sometimes he'll get bored of talking and go and be by himself. he doesn't seem to know what is rude to say and what isn't rude to say, so it's always a surprise to him when someone gets angry because he said something a bit offensive to them. he loves his work because he can see the indigenous people of mindota down in the reservation district, twidintakan while he excavates the ancient grounds for fossils and artifacts. he enjoys learning about the history of everything, and likes his job a lot. he loves his dog, eddy, and takes him everywhere. jack doesn't like cold weather which is why he stays in twidintakan for the most part, where it's usually tropical season-round. although he prefers heat to cold, snow and ice intrigues him as he has never seen it face to face.
*history: born in the southern tip of stokawan, jack was immediately introduced to the tropical life of the southern mindotians. ever since he was little he loved the heat and hated winter because it got a little cold during the days and nights. as a little boy he got a first class education from his parents, and ever since he learned what his father's job was, he wanted to be an archaeologist. so after high school he went to a special college to earn his degree, then moved over to twidintakan where he had heard had the best excavation sights. around that time, his little sister, lucy was born. he moved back there to see her, and stayed for a few years so he could spend time with his new sibling. he was amazed with how fast she seemed to grow. of course, he had an older-brother protectiveness of his younger sister so he stayed with her until she went to school. after that he moved back to twidintakan.
after a few years, he got a puppy whom he named eddy. eddy was a black and brown german shepherd. he was huge for a puppy, but listened well. over time he listened so well that jack new he could take his dog anywhere without eddy getting into trouble. since he became an archaeologist, he has seen many indigenous people and learned a bit of their languages. he enjoys learning about the culture of the native mindotians and how they keep to their old ways even with the new world pressuring them from all sides. overall he has found many artifacts in his excavations and has learned a lot about culture, art, and all kinds of old religions from the natives. jack takes trips during his vacations to go back to stokawan just to see his little sister and say hi to his family.
